Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! The Pharmacy Commencement activities for 2006 will be as follows:

College Commencement in Student Union Auditorium |
| 2:00 - 5:00 UT |
Commencement in Savage Hall |
You should receive a booklet from the Office of Student Records that will answer some of your questions concerning graduation. The Student Union Bookstore has the academic regalia in stock. Please pick it up at your convenience. Remember that the Pharmacy color is olive green for your tassel and hood (if appropriate). Any questions regarding academic garb can be referred to the Student Union Bookstore (419-530-2516 or email: utoledo@bkstore.com).
Please plan to arrive no later than 9:15 a.m. in order to line up. We will line up graduate candidates first so that they can be hooded followed by the undergraduate candidates.
We will be recognizing each and every candidate on stage. During the ceremony all PharmD and PhD graduates will be hooded. In the past, the person who "hooded" the student was their advisor. Please contact your advisor and verify that he/she will be at graduation.
For planning purposes, it is important for us to get a sense of the candidate and guest attendance. We will have hors d'oeuvres and drinks (punch, coffee, tea) immediately after our ceremony. Please complete the RSVP at utpharmacy.org by Friday, April 28th. If you are unable to attend, please provide a mailing address for any awards or graduation gifts to be sent.
Traditionally the University recognizes each and every candidate who obtains Summa Cum Laude at the afternoon ceremony. This year we have a record number of 16 candidates who are being honored. The University of Toledo will also be hooding all 90+ PharmD College of Pharmacy candidates. This is the largest hooding ceremony the University and the College will have experienced. We encourage you to attend both ceremonies to be a part of history in the making.
